What you can expect

  • Discover the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) on a full-day tour from Hue. Visit the Vinh Moc Tunnels, the Khe Sanh Combat Base, and the Hien Luong Bridge. Learn about the Vietnam War and the local culture from your guide.

    Start your day with pickup from your hotel in Hue and head to the DMZ. Learn about the Highway of Horror and stop at the Ancient Citadel of Quang Tri, a historical site of a 19th-century fort on the bank of the Thạch Hãn River.

    Continue to the Vinh Moc Tunnels, a complex of tunnels used by the North Vietnamese Army during the Vietnam War. Visit the museum and see the levels of tunnels.

    Next, visit the Hien Luong Bridge, which crosses the Ben Hai River and marks the former border between North and South Vietnam. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the Khe Sanh Combat Base.

    Learn about the Battle of Khe Sanh, one of the longest and deadliest battles of the Vietnam War. Visit the Dakrong Bridge and meet local minority people, including the Paco and Vân Kiều.
