Explore the coast of Oaxaca by visiting the community of Ventanilla,
famous for its lagoon, this small town is
located 1.5 hours from Bahías de Huatulco. This place
is renowned for its strong commitment to protecting
of the ecosystem, including mangroves, crocodiles, birds, and
other native species such as iguanas and white-tailed deer.
Upon arrival in this community, we'll walk
for approximately 15 minutes to board an
paddle-powered eco-friendly boat. During the
tour of the Ventanilla Lagoon, you'll have the
opportunity to observe up close the incredible
biodiversity of the area, especially the crocodiles in
their natural habitat. We'll stop at a small
island where you'll have the opportunity to visit an EMU
(Environmental Management Unit), learn about the
conservation work they carry out, visit the crocodile museum,
and sample traditional snacks in a
natural setting (not included in the tour cost).

After this fascinating experience, we'll head over
to the La Escobilla Ecotourism Centre, where you'll take part in a
magical moment releasing baby sea turtles into
the beach. Local guides will explain the importance of
this conservation project and will show you the best way
to release the turtles. You can even

accompany it as it begins its journey into the Pacific
Pacific Ocean.
