Depart from the tour bus station in Huaraz and head north to the Llanganuco Lakes, which are located between the mountains of Huascaran and Huandoy. Pass by several typical villages and appreciate the beautiful white mountains of Huandoy, Huascaran, Hualcan, Copa, and others.

Make a photo stop at the various viewing points on the way. Continue to Carhuaz, Yungay, and then start ascending the dusty road up to Llanganuco Lakes. Start visiting the lakes Orconcocha and bird watching, and Chinacocha Lake.

Take part in alternative activities such as sailing with small boats, then continue walking around. Head back to the countryside for a typical lunch at a local restaurant. Return the same way to Yungay and drive back to Huaraz, arriving at around 6:00 PM.
