What you can expect

Discover the authentic Moroccan Sahara on a 2-day tour from Fez to Merzouga. Enjoy a night under the starry sky at a Berber camp, and take a camel trek through the desert.

Day 1: Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Merzouga
Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Fez. Travel to Merzouga, stopping along the way to see the Middle Atlas Mountains and the cedar forest of Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco.

Continue to Azrou, Midelt, and the Ziz Valley. Reach Merzouga, where the camels are waiting for you. Enjoy a camel trek to your well-equipped camp. Listen to Berber drumming and gaze at the star-filled sky as you enjoy dinner at the camp.

Day 2: Merzouga - Midelt - Ifrane - Fez
Get up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. Return to Merzouga by camel and have breakfast before beginning your journey back to Fez.

Visit Tafilalt, Rissani, the Zawiya Moulay Ali Sharif, the dramatic Ziz Valley, and Imouzar Kandar. Arrive in Fez in the early evening and get dropped off at your hotel.
