The Qoricancha, known as the Inca Temple of the Sun, is represented as one of the most sacred and revered structures of the Inca Empire.
It was the place where the most revered gods, including the sun, were worshipped.
Today, this site has become an easily accessible museum, with a fascinating history that tells of its survival during the Spanish conquest in Peru and how a cultural syncretism developed within its walls.
