Day 1: Colombo-Anuradhapura-Sigiriya
Proceed to Sigiriya in a private vehicle from Colombo. Along the way, you will see a number of temples and historic sites in Anuradhapura. The 280 kilometres should take about five hours. Visit the Buddha statues in Mihintale, Aukana, later on.
Day 2: Sigiriya-Polonnaruwa-Sigiriya
After breakfast, depart for Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa. In the afternoon, take a safari in Minneriya National Park.
Day 3: Sigiriya-Kandy
After breakfast, head to the Kandy Hotel. While travelling, arrive at Dambulla Cave Temple. Spend one hour at the UNESCO-designated Dambulla Cave Temple, to witness ancient Buddha statues and murals. Later, stop at a spice garden to see the finest spices in Sri Lanka.
Day 4: Kandy-Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, leave for a sightseeing tour of Kandy and proceed to Nuwara Eliya En route, stop at Ramboda Falls, the tea factory and the garden. In the afternoon, take a Nuwara Eliya sightseeing tour.
Day 5: Nuwara Eliya-Colombo
