Discover one of Peru's most impressive waterfalls on a full-day excursion from Chachapoyas. The Gocta Waterfall, with a drop of approximately 771 metres, is surrounded by lush vegetation, mountainous landscapes, and a great diversity of flora and fauna.

The adventure begins with transport to the picturesque village of Cocachimba, located approximately one hour from Chachapoyas. From there, you'll start a roughly two-hour trek along trails surrounded by nature.

During the tour, you'll see crop fields, traditional sugar cane mills, colourful butterflies, various species of birds, and beautiful orchids growing in the natural environment. As you continue along the trail, you'll enjoy constant views of the majestic Gocta Waterfall.

Upon reaching the base of the waterfall, you'll have some free time to admire the landscape, take photographs, and enjoy the natural pool formed by the falling water. Those who wish can cool off in this spectacular setting surrounded by nature.

After enjoying the waterfalls, you will begin your return to Cocachimba, where you will enjoy a lunch typical of the region before returning to the city of Chachapoyas.
