What you can expect

  • Begin your game drive adventure with a convenient pickup from your accommodation in Cape Town. Board a comfortable vehicle and head towards the big five Private Game Reserve, a 10,000-hectare reserve that's home to Africa's Big Five.

    Enjoy a bit of downtime once you arrive at the park, taking the opportunity to stretch your legs as you sip a complimentary welcome drink. Tea, coffee, and light snacks will also be served during this time.

    Then, hop aboard an open 4x4 safari game lorry to set out on your sunset game drive. Listen as an experienced ranger tells captivating stories about the animals and their surroundings.

    This is the best time of day to spot wildlife as the animals begin to move towards watering holes after a hot day in the Karoo veld. Keep an eye out for antelopes and giraffes, as well as the Big Five – lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffalo.

    After your game drive, spend some time unwinding by the pool or purchase a drink from the bar before heading back to Cape Town.
