What you can expect

Day 1: Arrival in Basra
Early check-in, welcome meeting, lunch, and a walk through the bazaar and along the Shatt al-Arab corniche.

Day 2: Exploring Basra
Tour of the old city, Ottoman-era houses, potential visit to the Basra Museum, and a boat trip on the Shatt al-Arab waterway.

Day 3: Marshes, Ur & Uruk
Visit Al-Qurnah (Garden of Eden) Adam tree , boat trip through the Mesopotamian Marshes with local lunch, then to the Ziggurat of Ur then Visit the ancient city of Uruk, then head to Najaf

Day 4: Najaf

Day 5: Babylon & Karbala

Day 6: Ctesiphon & Baghdad
Visit the Taq Kasra arch at Ctesiphon, arrive in Baghdad, and explore Tahrir Square. Dinner out in the capital.

Day 7: Baghdad City Tour
Visit the Iraq Museum, Mustansiriya School, Al-Mutanabi Street, and a traditional teahouse. Evening free in Baghdad.

Day 8: Samarra & Mosul
See the spiral minarets of Samarra and travel north to Ashur Castel then to Hatra then over night in Mosul.

Day 9 Mosul
tour of Mosul’s old city and restoration projects. Visit Almasafi mosque. The heritage house of Mosul. The historical caste bashtabyia . Visit museum baytna . Alnori mosque & alhadba minaret . Visit Mosul churches.

Day 10: Lalish & Dohuk
Visit Mar Mattai Monastery and the sacred Yazidi temple in Lalish before continuing to Dohuk.

Day 11: Amedi & Shanidar Cave
Explore Amedi, the Barzani Memorial, lunch in Rezan, and visit the Neanderthal Shanidar Cave.

Day 12: Rawanduz & Sulaymaniyah
Scenic drive through canyons, Hamilton Road, Bekhal Waterfall, and Medean tombs before arriving in Sulaymaniyah.

Day 13: Sulaymaniyah & Erbil
Visit the Red Security Museum and the local bazaar. Continue to Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan.

Day 14: Erbil
Tour the UNESCO-listed Erbil Citadel (external visit), explore Qaysari Bazaar, and enjoy a farewell dinner .

Day 15: Departure from Erbil
Transfer to the airport for early morning flights.
