Your third stop is Foshan Ancestral Temple, one of the most important cultural landmarks in Foshan. First, you will enjoy a one-hour live Kung Fu and Lion Dance performance, featuring powerful martial arts demonstrations and traditional Southern Lion Dance techniques. This exciting show allows you to experience the energy and spirit of authentic Lingnan martial arts culture. After the performance, we will explore the temple’s cultural exhibitions, including the Ip Man Hall, Huang Feihong Memorial Hall, and displays related to Bruce Lee’s Kung Fu heritage. You will learn about the development of Southern Kung Fu and discover why Foshan is known as one of the birthplaces of Chinese martial arts culture.

Your final stop is Zhongyi Hall in Foshan, an important Lion Dance heritage centre dedicated to preserving Southern Lion Dance, a recognised Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage. The centre is well known for its traditional Three-Star Southern Lion style and plays an important role in promoting Lingnan Lion Dance culture. During this 90-minute experience, you will learn about the history and cultural meaning of Lion Dance, discover the craftsmanship behind making lion heads, practice basic lion dance movements, and try traditional drumming techniques. This hands-on experience offers a unique opportunity to get close to the authentic Southern Lion Dance tradition.
