This guided evening experience goes beyond the standard historical narrative, exploring the myths, legends, and secret societies that have influenced the island’s past. Led by heritage researcher and storyteller Eugene Tay, the tour explores Fort Canning Hill, formerly known as Bukit Larangan or the Forbidden Hill, a place once associated with ancient rulers, sacred rituals, and lingering spirits.

Starting from the Peranakan Museum and making your way towards the hilltop, you will uncover stories of Singapore’s last Malay king, ancient burial sites, and mysterious symbols linked to Freemasonry and early colonial influences. Along the route, accounts of real ghost encounters and long-forgotten superstitions bring the darker side of history to life, revealing a version of Singapore that few have ever experienced.
