The Natural Aquarium has a title that few tours can claim: it was the first float open to the public in Bonito, and decades later, it still impresses those who arrive expecting just another float. The tour is located within the Baía Bonita Ecological Reserve, just 7 km from the town centre, which also makes it the most accessible option for those staying city centre.
It all starts with a training session in the attraction's pool. You become familiar with the mask, snorkel, and basic techniques before entering the actual river, which makes all the difference for first-time floaters. After the training, the group follows a 500-meter trail through the riparian forest to the main deck, encountering native fauna and flora along the way.
The float covers 800 metres from the Baía Bonita River to where it meets the Formosinho River. The feeling of being inside a giant aquarium is real: the water is transparent, the underwater vegetation surrounds everything around you, and the fish swim around as if you were nothing new to them. A support boat accompanies the group throughout the entire route, ensuring safety every metre of the way.
Upon returning, the attraction's facilities are complete: restaurant, pool, whirlpool, zip-line, souvenir shop, changing rooms, and access for wheelchair users. It is not necessary to know how to swim. With a duration of 2.5 hours and an easy difficulty rating, it is a good option for families, couples, and anyone who wants to start their Bonito itinerary on the right foot.
Transport to the attraction is not included in the package, but can be arranged separately. To find out about the available options, please get in touch. Secure your spot and book now.
