You’ll be picked up at 9 AM from Hotel Riad in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to start your guided tour of Fes, including a local family lunch. Along the way you’ll get to see many cherished landmarks of ancient Medina, including the gates of the Royal Palace of Fez, the Jewish Quarter, the Janan Sabil Garden, the Merenid tombs, The Bab Abi al-Jounoud and more.

Next, you’ll be driven to a local family lunch to escape the usual tourist traps and experience the delights of traditional Moroccan cuisine. During the meal, you’ll get the chance to learn about genuine Moroccan cookery and the culture’s unique dining etiquette, such as washing your hands before the meal with a kettle of water and soap. You'll be served a fine selection of salads with meat and vegetables, couscous, chicken with green olives and lemon, and fruit, followed by Moroccan mint tea after lunch before being driven back to your hotel.
