What you can expect

If you are staying in Braga and want to explore the centre of this magnificent city, then you've come to the right place.

We will then take a walking tour of the “Portuguese Rome,” or the city of the Archbishops, to learn a little about its customs, history, and traditions.

This tour of Braga's city centre includes a visit to the Cathedral of Sé, where we will learn a little more about its history. We will walk through the centre of Braga, starting from the Arco da Porta Nova, passing by the Library, the Santa Bárbara Gardens, the Torre de Menagem, Avenida da Liberdade, Rua de São Marcos (one of the most traditional streets), Frigideiras do Cantinho to see the Roman ruins, and Rua do Souto.

This tour will start near the fountains in Praça da República.
