Most companies keep their R&D, marketing, and sales offices here in Shenzhen, while their factories are based in the surrounding cities. This centre shows that creative side of Shenzhen — where ideas are born before becoming real products. The venue is busy all year round with different kinds of events — from comic cons and cultural fairs to large-scale tech and industrial shows. The theme is always changing, so if you’re interested in visiting, I’ll check what’s happening on that day. It’s a great chance to see the latest innovations, explore what’s trending, and experience Shenzhen’s energy for yourself.

Hongfa Temple

Fairy Lake area is a large natural park at the foothills of Wutong Mountain, with plenty of green space, trails, and scenic spots. Hongfa Temple is a small but peaceful part of the park, featuring traditional Chinese architecture with golden roofs and elegant carvings. The park has a quiet lake in front of the temple, and in the surrounding mountains, hidden temples peek out from the trees, giving that classic Chinese-style view. Walking along the trails, there’s a natural waterfall and plenty of calm spots to pause and enjoy the scenery. The area is especially beautiful in the morning mist or in the late afternoon when sunlight touches the golden statues. It’s a place that blends culture, nature, and light exercise — a perfect escape from Shenzhen’s busy city life.

Maoye Mall (huaqiangbei)

I usually take travellers to Huaqiangbei because it’s one of Shenzhen’s must-visit spots, especially if you’re into tech. It’s the world’s largest electronics market — a real wonderland full of gadgets, computer parts, cameras, phones, and tiny components you won’t see anywhere else. Walking through the streets and malls, you really feel Shenzhen’s energy and innovation. Shops are stacked high, products everywhere, and people are busy negotiating, testing, or building — it’s fast-paced, exciting, and totally unique. I like showing travellers around because it’s not just about shopping. It’s a glimpse into how Shenzhen became a global tech hub. Twenty-Four Histories Academy - Located in the north of Gankeng Ancient Town in Longgang District, the Twenty-Four Histories Academy is a peaceful place built in a traditional Chinese style. You’ll see classic white walls, grey roof tiles, small bridges, pavilions, and calm water views that make you feel like you’ve stepped into old China. When the lights turn on at dusk, the whole area looks even more beautiful—like a scene from a historical drama. When you visit with me, we’ll walk around slowly, explore the gardens, libraries, and quiet hallways, and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. I’ll also help you take great photos in the best spots. It’s one of the best places in Shenzhen to feel ancient culture and enjoy a break from the busy city.
