Learn to surf on the beaches of São Miguel in the Azores! Few people know that in Europe we have our own Hawaii. We are talking about the Azores Islands: an archipelago of nine islands in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean that is part of Portugal.

It's volcanic origin means that we find dreamlike cliffs, paradisiacal beaches and beautiful natural parks, some of them with thermal waters such as Terra Nostra Park. The capital of the Azores is São Miguel, an island that receives thousands of tourists every year looking for a change of scenery through its hiking trails or surfing. Choosing two of the best surfing beaches in São Miguel, Praia das Milícias, four kilometres from Ponta Delgada, or Praia do Areal de Santa Bárbara, depending on your level and the tides, you will learn for 2 hours all the technical knowledge necessary to know how to surf: how to enter the water, how to paddle, how to get on the board and keep your balance...
