Activity itinerary

We meet at the pier at the Hotel Olivedo in Varenna. We board the car that will take us up to the mountains. Travel time will be around 40 minutes. On the way you’ll be able to admire dramatic landscapes, half-abandoned churches, orchards and, of course, the lake. When we reach the parking place we leave the car and the guide will take us on a nice walk through the forest with panoramas of the water surface. The walk will take 20-30 minutes depending on the walking speed. Rising to the very foothills of the Alps, the views will finally open in all their glory. We now get to the picnic area, where you find everything ready for you, a light music in the background, an elegant atmosphere and a magnificent view. We will show you the products we have selected from local farmers and tell you where they come from and the stories behind these places, then leave you to enjoy the atmosphere! We guarantee you will take great photos! The total activity time will be 3 - 3.5 hours. Estimated end of the programme: 15.00
