Join us for an unforgettable adventure with Etna tour by Jeep and Trekking. Our departure point is located in Linguaglossa and is one of the few to have free, guarded parking where you can leave your car and luggage in complete security. We chose this location because it is centrally located between Catania, Mount Etna, the Alcantara Gorges and Taormina, and is only 8 km from the highway exit. The tour starts at 8:45 AM and ends at approximately 1:15 PM. At the end of the tour, participants often have lunch in one of the many traditional restaurants or in one of the wineries (we are in the heart of the Etna DOC wine production area) or enjoy a relaxing swim in the Alcantara Gorges, which are a few kilometres away. Therefore, we recommend bringing swimwear and a beach towel for post-tour activities.
The Etna Jeep Tour is one of our most popular excursions, as it is also the most comprehensive one using licensed vehicles. The tour takes place in several stages, alternating between 4x4 routes, off-road trails, and short walks, allowing you to appreciate the sites of great natural and volcanic interest within Etna Park. In a single excursion, you will have the opportunity to visit lava flows that threatened entire villages. We will visit the top of the craters on the eastern side, from where it will be possible to look at the horizon and admire the panorama that extends as far as Taormina, Calabria, and the Aeolian Islands. You will also see the last big eruption and experience the thrill of descending into the volcano, visiting a lava tunnel to understand the phenomena associated with the flow of lava. Our guides, aboard authorised 4x4 vehicles, will enrich your excursion by explaining, in simple and clear language, the countless natural and volcanological aspects of the largest volcano in Europe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2013.
