Merge yourself in the land where an Italian masterpiece,Parmigiano Reggiano, was born. Relax in a unique landscape surrounded by nature and live an authentic Emilian culinary experience.
Meet your friendly local chef, Adriano, in his family-run farmhouse in Parma countryside and let you be guided in a sensorial journey throughtypical local flavours. You will learn local recipes, such as Tortelli alle erbette: start cooking the fresh herbs and mix them with ricotta for preparing the stuffing for the tortelli. Then, Adriano will show you how to make and pull the dough of pasta fresca, before cutting and filling it for creating your own tortelli.
As Parmigiano is the real star of this Italian Region, you will learn how to use it for preparing a delicious main course. Your chef will teach youcooking tips and then you will dress your tortelli with melted butter and grated Parmesan cheese.
Once the work is completed, enjoy the meal. Savour steamy tortelli, and the Parmesan-based main course paired with Lambrusco, local sparkling red wine. You will also taste cold cuts and Parmigiano. At the end of this sumptuous meal, toast with Bargnolino -typical local alcoholic drinks- and Sbrisolona cake.
