Meet your guide at 190 High Street and set off on a journey into the city’s darkest history. Walk through historic cemeteries and hidden alleyways while uncovering legends, real events, and even scientific investigations linked to Edinburgh’s most unexplained phenomena.

Throughout its history, Edinburgh has witnessed brutal events, murders, and witch burnings. The echoes of these stories have survived through time and remain deeply embedded in the city’s closes and graveyards, which you’ll explore after nightfall, when the atmosphere is at its most intense.

Leave the most tourist-filled areas behind and travel back to a time when life beyond the city walls was forbidden. Through carefully selected stories and visual projections, your guide will reveal Edinburgh as its former inhabitants once experienced it. More than once, you may find that history is darker than legend.
