Activity itinerary

Savitaipale is located rights on top of the second Salpausselkä -bar ridge formation that was created during the last ice age. The area is full of kettle holes and bar ridge formations. The area is also part of Saimaa Geopark. The region has a lot of up and downs that why the area is perfect for e-biking! In this safari we are using Tunturi 2020 emax e-fatbikes that makes the safari easy for beginners also. The route option is easy. We are going along the marked "ice age theme" -trail. Total distance during the safari is around 15km. At the half point of the safari we will enjoy a cup of coffee and tea prepared by your biking guide. You are welcome to bring own snack that you can heat in the open fire place. Before departing your guide will explain the e-bike and goes trough the safety instructions. The route consists of mainly small gravel routes, with couple of small and easy trails.
