Cruise the warm waters off Manzanillo in search of two incredible dolphin species. Spot playful bottlenose dolphins and the lesser known Tucuxi, found only in this region. The dolphin watching portion lasts 1.5 to 2 hours depending on how quickly we encounter them (we have a 90% success rate!). This relaxing experience gives you a chance to observe these dolphins naturally, without disturbing their rhythm. When the boat turns off the engine and all you can hear is them moving through the water, it is a moment you have to be there to truly feel.
The Scenic Coastline & Monkey Island
After our time with the dolphins, we will navigate along the breathtaking coastline of the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge. This stretch is famous for its dramatic cliffs and lush jungle meeting the sea. We will pass by the iconic Monkey Island, a striking rock formation and lush islet that serves as a landmark for the incredible biodiversity of this area. Keep your eyes peeled for seabirds in the canopy above.
The Hidden Beach Escape
We will make a special stop at a pristine, hidden beach that remains one of the coast’s best-kept secrets. Only accessible by boat or a rigorous 4km hike through the jungle, this secluded spot offers a level of peace you won’t find on the main beaches. You will have time to swim in the crystal-clear turquoise water, relax on the untouched sand, and soak in the raw beauty of the Caribbean.
