For divers from Open Water level whether you are an Advanced diver, or you are looking to improve your skills with the sinking boat speciality, this underwater treasure has something for everyone. Let’s dive into the unique advantages of exploring this iconic site. When you arrive at the dive centre in Tabaiba in the morning, you will be provided with your new clothing and equipment, including wetsuit, mask, fins and dive bottle. For this diving adventure you need to have at least Open Water certification, but ideally you have advanced. You'll see a lot of marine life too A few metres from the dive centre we find the wreck of “El Peñón”, a tugboat sunk in 2006 to create an artificial reef. Resting at a depth of approximately 30 metres (100 feet), the wreck offers a fascinating insight into maritime history.
