What you can expect

Meeting point: In front of the “La Goteta” tram stop.

Route: Approximately 5 km through the Serra Grossa, a little-known local mountain range that offers stunning scenery and spots rich in history.

Highlights:
• Please note that the Serra Grossa route is in a rocky mountain area. There is a short section where participants need to climb slightly for about 23 feet (7 metres). The descent is also along a trail with a slope and rocky terrain.
• Hike along trails surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation.
• Information about local history and interesting geological features of the area.
• Panoramic views from the summit: the city of Alicante, Santa Bárbara Castle, the Mediterranean coast, Cabo de Santa Pola, and, on clear days, even Tabarca Island.

End of the tour: Return to the 'La Goteta – Plaza Mar 2' tram stop, near the Plaza Mar 2 shopping centre. Alternatively, we can end at the “La Sangueta” tram stop.
