Meeting point: In front of the “La Goteta” tram stop.

Route: Approximately 5 km through the Sierra Grossa, a little-known local mountain that offers amazing landscapes and places full of history.

Highlights:
• Please note that the route in Serra Grossa is in a rocky mountain area. There is a short segment where you need to climb slightly for about 7 metres (23 feet). The descent is also along a trail with a slope and rocky terrain.
• Route along trails surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation.
• Information about local history and geological curiosities of the area.
• Panoramic views from the top: the city of Alicante, Santa Bárbara Castle, the Mediterranean coast, Cabo de Santa Pola, and even, on clear days, Tabarca Island.

End of the route: Return to the tram stop “La Goteta - Plaza Mar 2”, near the Plaza Mar 2 shopping centre. Alternatively, we can finish at the “La Sangueta” tram stop.
