What you can expect

9:00 AM - Start your day by visiting the iconic Red Fort, a Unesco World Heritage site and one of the most famous landmarks in Delhi. Spend a couple of hours exploring the impressive architecture and learning about the history of the Mughal Empire.

11:00 AM - From the Red Fort, head to the nearby Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. Take a guided tour of the mosque and its surrounding bazaar, where you can shop for traditional souvenirs and sample delicious street food.

1:00 PM - After Jama Masjid, stop for lunch at Karim's, a popular restaurant known for its delicious Mughlai cuisine. Try the kebabs and biryanis, which are some of the restaurant's specialities.

2:30 PM - After lunch, head to Humayun's Tomb, another Unesco World Heritage site and the final resting place of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. The tomb is known for its beautiful architecture and stunning gardens.

4:00 PM - Next, visit Qutub Minar, another unesco World Heritage site and one of the tallest minarets in the world. Explore the surrounding complex, which includes a number of other historic buildings and structures.

6:00 PM - Finally, end your day with a visit to India Gate, a war memorial and popular gathering spot for locals and tourists alike. Enjoy a leisurely stroll around the gardens and take in the stunning views of the monument, which is particularly impressive when lit up at night.

7:00 PM - Return to your hotel or accommodation for the night.
