Activity itinerary

Alameda Central (Pass by)

We will walk through the oldest park in America, a place where the ancient coexists with the modern. During Día de Muertos, the Alameda is filled with altars, catrinas and cempasúchil flowers and also with costumed pop characters, creating a unique surreal atmosphere.

Museo Mural Diego Rivera (Pass by)

We will go to the side of the museum where we will talk about the famous mural “Dream of a Sunday afternoon in the Central Alameda”, created by Diego Rivera. This mural is key because it made the Catrina the most recognised symbol of the Day of the Dead (entrance to the museum is not included in the tour)
