Discover the beauty of Cypress Spring on a guided eco adventure. Choose from a kayak or paddleboard to explore the crystal-clear waters of Holmes Creek. Dive into the spring with a SeaDoo Underwater Scooter and snorkel to see the abundant marine life.
Meet your guide and set off on a short paddle on Holmes Creek. Once at the spring, enjoy the view from your beach chair or jump in and explore the spring with a SeaDoo Underwater Scooter and mask and snorkel.
See a variety of fish, turtles, crawfish, and even on occasion fossilised shark teeth. Some of the species you can expect to see are blue gill, large mouth bass, flat head grey mullet, cooter turtle, pond slider, and soft shell turtles.
Surrounded by woods, listen to the call of birds, such as heron, ibis, woodpeckers, warblers, cardinals, blue jays, mockingbirds, hawks, eagles, owls, and vultures, while you are paddling or enjoying a number of different activities.
Unlike the ocean, the beach at Cypress Springs is free of rip tides. This allows you an easier time if you decide to venture under the surface of the spring. Like the beaches of Northwest Florida, the water at Cypress Springs stays shallow around the shore and gradually gets deeper until you reach the middle where there's a drop off and the water reaches a depth of about 23 feet.
Coldwater Excursions guided eco tour meets the need of every adventurer, from novice to expert. Transport to and from Cypress Springs is provided for your convenience. Enjoy the 5-star treatment from the highly trained, knowledgeable, and hospitable staff.
