Description

Experience the authenticity and charm of St Lucia on this out-of-the-ordinary cultural tour. Based on the natural, cultural and historical heritage of St Lucia, this 4-hour tour guides you through one of the most scenic islands of the Caribbean. Learn from locals and your expert guide as you explore.

Head into the gorgeous countryside village of Fond Assau and learn about age-old island traditions. Observe the locals as they teach you the traditional ways to collect honey from beehives and catch tasty crayfish. Learn other local traditions, like taking the roots of the cassava plant and mashing them up to make delicious bread.

The soothing sounds of local musicians fill your ears while you observe an authentic wood-sawing demonstration. Watch these local artisans show off their crafts, perfected over hundreds of years of development. Next, go to Our Planet visitor centre, a new attraction made in partnership with NOAA/NASA. This must-see attraction shows how important it is to take care of our gentle world. Parents and kids alike can check out the centre’s interactive exhibits and games, and learn about severe weather events and conservation in the special effects theatre and laser show.

After a day rich with cultural and learning experiences, return to your hotel via convenient roundtrip transport.
