What you can expect

  • Begin your day in a small traditional café, where locals gather for their morning Greek coffee. This stop offers a glimpse into everyday village life and the slow rhythm of rural Crete.

Continue to a family-run winery surrounded by vineyards. Take part in a guided tasting and learn about Cretan grape varieties, local winemaking traditions, and the unique terroir of the region. Wine tasting includes several labels from the estate.

Next, travel to the historic village of Aghios Thomas, known for its cave-style Roman tombs carved into the rocks and its collection of ancient and Byzantine churches. Walk through narrow stone streets and learn about the long history of this unusual place.

Your journey continues into the mountains, where you will stop in a small village with panoramic views over the Cretan countryside. Enjoy a traditional lunch in a local taverna, featuring homemade dishes prepared with fresh, regional ingredients.

On the return route, pass through the village of Agios Myron, another authentic settlement famous for its traditional architecture and peaceful atmosphere.
