The Ruins of Copan are one of the most important Archaeological sites of the ancient Mayan Civilisation in Honduras.
It is located in the Copan Valley, Copan Ruinas Municipality, Copan Department, Honduras, 12 kilometres east of the border with Guatemala.
Copan was an influential Mayan city, a ceremonial centre and one of the main scientific research centers of the Classic period, a kind of astronomical observatory.

Our Tour, which starts early in the morning will take you from your Hotel in San Pedro Sula - 2 hours from Copan Ruins, we will take a guided tour to the Main Archaeological Site, including The Acropolis, the Ball Game, the Hieroglyphic Staircase, and the great Plaza de las Estelas; Then we will visit the Mayan Sculpture Museum - acclaimed by experts as unique in the Mayan World. Inside the Museum is the Rosalila Temple, a masterpiece discovered in 1989.
