  • Experience the living culture of the Wiradjuri people on an immersive guided walk through the beautiful Coorongooba landscape.

    Your experience begins with a Welcome to Country, a ceremony that introduces you to the land while deepening your connection to Wiradjuri Country.

    Led by an Aboriginal guide, this 1.5-hour cultural walk explores the history, stories and traditions of the Dabee Wiradjuri people, the people of Kandos, Rylstone and Capertee Valley region. Along the way, you'll discover cultural artefacts, hear the Wiradjuri language spoken, and learn about the native plants, animals, bush foods and medicines found throughout the landscape.

    As you explore the stunning surrounds of Wollemi National Park, keep an eye out for native wildlife including parrots, kangaroos, goannas, wombats and many other species.

    This is an easy guided walk with minimal fitness required. Please note that the experience follows natural dirt paths and is not wheelchair accessible.
