Activity itinerary

Piazza di Spagna

  • 15m
Piazza di Spagna is one of the most famous squares in Rome, located at the foot of the scenic Spanish Steps. It owes its name to the nearby Spanish Palace, seat of the Spanish Embassy to the Holy See. The square is dominated by the fountain of the Fontana della Barcaccia, made by Pietro and Gian Lorenzo Bernini, which depicts a half-submerged boat. The staircase, with its 135 steps, connects the square to the church of Trinità dei Monti, offering one of the most suggestive views of the city. Piazza di Spagna is also an important meeting point and a symbol of Roman elegance, surrounded by high fashion boutiques and historic streets such as Via dei Condotti. Frequented by tourists and Romans, it represents a place where art, history and daily life intertwine in a unique atmosphere.

Piazza Navona

  • 15m
Piazza Navona is one of the most fascinating squares in Rome, built on the ancient Stadium of Domitian, of which it retains its elongated shape. The heart of the square is the spectacular Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, a masterpiece by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, which represents the great rivers of the four continents then known. Next to it are two other fountains: the Fontana del Moro and the Fontana del Neptune. On the west side stands the church of Sant'Agnese in Agone, designed by Francesco Borromini. Surrounded by baroque palaces, cafes and street artists, Piazza Navona is a lively meeting place where art, history and everyday life come together, offering a unique and suggestive atmosphere at any time of the day.

Trevi Fountain

  • 15m
Trevi Fountain is the most famous and monumental fountain in Rome, symbol of Italian Baroque. Designed by Nicola Salvi and completed in the eighteenth century, it leans against the facade of Palazzo Poli, creating an imposing scenographic effect. In the centre dominates the figure of Ocean, god of the sea, on a shell-shaped cart pulled by sea horses, led by newts. The water flows strongly among carved rocks, creating a continuous movement that fascinates visitors from all over the world. The fountain is also linked to the tradition of coin toss : according to legend, throwing one of your back guarantees the return to Rome. Illuminated at night, the Trevi Fountain becomes even more striking, offering a unique spectacle where art, myth and desire meet.

Pantheon

  • 15m
Pantheon is one of the best preserved monuments of ancient Rome, built in the 2nd century AD.C. under Emperor Hadrian on the site of a previous temple commissioned by Agrippa. Born as a place dedicated to all deities, it was transformed into a Christian church in the seventh century, contributing to its extraordinary preservation. The building impresses with its imposing dome, still the largest in the world in unreinforced concrete, at the centre of which opens the oculus, a circular window that lets in light and rain creating suggestive effects. The harmonious and perfectly proportioned interior reflects the ingenuity of Roman architecture. The Pantheon also houses the tombs of important figures, including the painter Raphael Sanzio, and is still a place of worship and one of the most fascinating destinations in the city.

Terrazza del Pincio

  • 15m
Terrazza del Pincio and Piazza del Popolo form one of the most evocative landscape complexes in Rome. The square, of ancient origin and reorganized in the neoclassical age, is dominated by the Flaminio obelisk and enclosed between elegant buildings and the famous twin churches. From here important streets branch off such as Via del Corso. Climbing towards the Pincio you reach the panoramic terrace, a natural balcony that offers spectacular views of the rooftops of Rome and the square itself. This green space, part of Villa Borghese, is a beloved place for walks and moments of relaxation. At sunset, the Pincio terrace offers one of the most romantic views of the city, where golden light envelops monuments and domes, creating a unique atmosphere that combines nature, art and history in a single setting.
