— In the morning, depart from Chengdu and head to Luocheng Ancient Town. Upon arrival, enjoy a cup of tea in an old teahouse to experience Sichuan's tea culture. Afterwards, explore freely, sample local snacks, and immerse yourself in the authentic daily life of southern Sichuan.
Luocheng Ancient Town is shaped like a giant ship atop a mountain, earning it the name “China’s Noah’s Ark.” As a living community, it showcases authentic local life, with elders gathering daily in teahouses—a true reflection of Sichuan’s cultural rhythms.
—Afterwards, drive to the Leshan Giant Buddha and take a boat to admire the grandeur of this Tang Dynasty stone-carved seated Buddha.
The Leshan Giant Buddha, carved into Lingyun Mountain, stands 71 metres tall as the world's largest ancient stone seated Buddha. Begun in 713 AD, its 90-year construction embodies Buddhist devotion and ingenious hydrological engineering, protecting it for over a millennium as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

“Sacred Elephant Emei” is a large-scale stage performance that integrates Emei’s Buddhist culture, martial arts, Sichuan opera and folk arts with modern technology. It vividly presents the mountain’s spiritual legacy and natural grandeur in an immersive cultural spectacle.
Day 2: Emei — Golden Summit of Mount Emei — Chengdu
—Take a vehicle to the Huangwan Parking Lot of Mount Emei, then transfer to a scenic area bus to Leidongping.
—Walk to the cable car station and take the cable car up to the Golden Summit. Explore the breathtaking blend of Buddhist culture and natural wonders at the mountain's peak.
Mount Emei is renowned both as a “natural gene bank” with rich biodiversity and as one of China’s Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains—the Bodhimanda of Samantabhadra. Its deep integration of natural beauty and religious heritage has earned it UNESCO dual World Heritage status.
