What you can expect

  • Meet your driver-cum-guide and set off in a comfortable minivan for an unforgettable morning in the Loire Valley.

Your first stop is the exquisite Château d’Azay-le-Rideau, a masterpiece of early French Renaissance architecture. Built on an island in the Indre River, its elegant façade reflected in the water creates one of the most romantic scenes in the region. As you explore, your driver-cum-guide will share engaging stories and provide insightful commentary about the château’s history.

Next, continue to the renowned Château de Villandry, famed for its spectacular gardens. Originally designed in the Renaissance by Jean Le Breton and lovingly restored by the Carvallo family in the early 20th century, the gardens are an extraordinary recreation of 16th-century grandeur. Stroll through beautifully arranged flower beds, ornamental hedges, and the iconic kitchen garden while your driver-cum-guide offers local insights and background information.

After a morning immersed in beauty, history, and heritage, return to Tours around 1:30 PM — your heart full of memories from the Loire Valley’s finest treasures.
