Your unforgettable adventure begins with a warm smile from your friendly driver who will pick you up from your hotel in Mactan Island, Cebu City, Mandaue City, Talisay City, Moalboal, Oslob, or anywhere within Cebu Island. Please be ready at your hotel lobby 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Travel to Oslob takes approximately three hours, depending on traffic and road conditions, as you enjoy a scenic coastal drive through the beautiful countryside of South Cebu.
Please note that pick-up time may sometimes be adjusted, especially during peak season or when sea conditions are rough. Weather, waves, and the natural movement of small fish that attract the whale sharks can affect their presence and the operation schedule. Arriving earlier is highly recommended to avoid long waiting times and to increase the chance of a smoother whale shark experience.
Upon arrival in Oslob, our experienced local guide will assist you in securing your priority number for whale shark swimming. The queue system is strictly first come, first served and managed by the Oslob LGU, and we do not have control over it. While waiting, you may explore the area or enjoy breakfast at nearby eateries.
Once your number is called, prepare for a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with the gentle giants of the sea. Swim alongside the magnificent whale sharks and witness their calm and graceful movements up close for approximately 45 minutes — a truly breathtaking and humbling marine experience.
After this extraordinary encounter, we travel about 1 hour and 30 minutes to Badian. At our base camp, you will meet your professional and safety-oriented local guide who will lead you to the iconic Kawasan Falls. The short 30-minute walk to the falls is surrounded by lush tropical scenery. At Kawasan Falls, you will be amazed by its crystal-clear turquoise waters and stunning natural beauty a perfect tropical paradise where you can swim, relax, and take beautiful photos.
Upon returning to base camp, a delicious local-flavored lunch will be served. If you have food restrictions, please inform us in advance so we can prepare accordingly.
Next, we travel 30 minutes to Moalboal for the world-famous Sardine Run and turtle watching. Dive into clear blue waters and witness millions of shimmering sardines moving together like a living underwater tornado — a magical marine spectacle. You may also encounter gentle sea turtles swimming freely in their natural habitat. Your friendly local guide will assist you throughout and also help capture your photos and videos to make your memories even more special.
After a full day of adventure, we begin the 3-hour journey back to the city, depending on traffic conditions.
