Escape to the tropical beauty of Cebu with our exclusive Island Hopping Tour that goes beyond the usual stops, taking you on a vibrant sea adventure to four of the most beautiful islands and marine sanctuaries off Mactan. Enjoy the convenience of hotel pickup and drop-off, along with complimentary snorkelling gear and lifejackets, ensuring a safe, seamless, and stress-free day on the water.
While most island-hopping tours only include the three popular stops—Gilutungan, Nalusuan, and Caohagan—our tour offers something extra. We begin the experience with a visit to the beautiful San Vicente Fish Sanctuary, a protected marine area known for its clear waters, abundant reef fish, and colourful coral formations. Starting the day here allows guests to ease into the experience with calm, shallow waters and vibrant marine life, setting the tone for a full day of exploration. This additional stop makes our itinerary one of the few in the area to feature four distinct locations rather than the standard three.
Our itinerary also includes a stop at Nalusuan Island Resort for a freshly prepared buffet lunch, served in a beautiful oceanfront restaurant setting. Unlike pre-packed meals eaten on the boat, this restaurant experience ensures high-quality food, caters to a variety of dietary preferences—including vegetarian and pescatarian options—and provides peace of mind with a clean, hygienic dining environment, a feature not commonly included in typical tours.
We begin the day with a boat departure from Mactan, heading first to San Vicente Fish Sanctuary for snorkelling in its protected waters. The sanctuary is known for its thriving reef ecosystem and excellent visibility, making it an ideal introduction to Cebu’s marine life for both beginners and experienced swimmers.
From there, we continue to Gilutungan Island, one of the oldest and most protected marine sanctuaries in Cebu. This stop focuses on snorkelling in the surrounding sanctuary waters, where vibrant coral gardens and a wide variety of tropical fish species thrive. Please note that Gilutungan is a government-managed marine reserve, and guests are permitted to snorkel in the sanctuary waters but are not allowed to walk around the island itself. All operators are subject to these regulations.
After Gilutungan, we make our way to Nalusuan Island, another pristine marine reserve rich in sea life. Guests can enjoy a scenic walk along its iconic wooden boardwalk before sitting down to the included buffet lunch at the resort restaurant.
Next, we visit the charming Caohagan Island, where you can explore a friendly local fishing village, interact with residents, shop for handmade souvenirs, or simply relax on the beach beneath swaying palm trees before we return to Mactan.
This thoughtfully planned itinerary combines vibrant marine life, local island culture, and beautiful coastal scenery—offering a well-rounded island-hopping experience that goes beyond the standard three-stop route.
