Embark on a full day adventure from cape town to the cape of good hope, exploring the stunning coastline and meeting the famous African penguins along the way.
Your journey begins in Cape town, where we will first visit the vibrant and colourful area of Bo-kaap, know for it's rich history and bright houses. Here, you'll have time to wander through the cobbled streets and take in the unique culture of this historic area.
From Bo-kaap, we drive along the coast, passing through the popular seaside area of sea point, with its scenic promenade and ocean views. we'll make a stop at the Maiden's cove, a picturesque spot between Clifton and camps bay, offering incredible views of the ocean and the Twelve Apostles mountain range.
Next, we head to the trendy camps bay beach, where you can enjoy the beautiful white sand and clear blue waters, framed by palm trees and the dramatic backdrop of the table mountains. From Camps bay, we continue to Hout bay, a charming coastal town know for its fishing harbour. Here, you'll have the option to take a boat trip to see cape fur seals or simply explore the village.
We then take the iconic chapman's peak drive, one of the most scenic coastal roads, in the world. As we wind along the steep cliffs, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding mountains, with plenty of photo stops along the way.
Our next stop is the Cape of Good Hope, the southwestern most point of Africa, where you can explore the rugged landscape and learn about the early explorers who navigated these waters. You'll have the option to hike or take the funicular up to Cape Point, where you'll see the lighthouse and enjoy stunning panoramic views of the place where the Atlantic and Indian Current meet.
After exploring the cape of good hope, we visit the Boulders Beach Penguins Colony in Simon's Town, home to a large colony of endangered African Penguins. You'll get up close to these adorable birds as they waddle along the beach and swim in the Ocean. The wooden boardwalks allow for fantastic viewing while protecting their natural habitat.
