What you can expect

Canyon de Chelly has over 2700 archaeological sites with over 700 standing ruins. The canyon is the 2nd largest canyon in the United States and all Authorised Guides are certified by the National Park Service. Open all year long, we offer a 3-hour private tour with the option of extending your time.

There are plenty of Rock Art and Ruins to see. You will hear the History and Culture of the Ancestral Pueblo, Hopi and Navajo Indians.

The canyon is 131 square miles or 83,340 acres and the walls go up to 1,000 feet in height. We pick up at; the Best Western and Holiday Inn in Chinle (AZ). There is an 8.00 dollar (USD) backcountry permit fee per person paid in cash to the Navajo Parks and Rec. Your guide will get this with you.

Our company vehicles are very comfortable and well maintained. We offer open air and enclosed vehicles

Bring water, snacks, camera, and binoculars. Make sure you dress appropriately for your tour with comfortable Clothing and Shoes.
