Overview

  • Discover a side of Cartagena that few travellers get to experience with this immersive canoe adventure through the magical mangrove forests of La Boquilla. This eco-tour blends nature, culture, and community impact, giving you front-row access to the vibrant Afro-Colombian fishing village that has fought to preserve its traditions and ecosystem. Glide through natural mangrove tunnels, spot exotic birds and wildlife, and hear stories directly from the local fishermen who have become guardians of these waters.

More than a nature tour, this experience is an invitation to witness how community-led conservation efforts have revitalised the mangroves and the livelihoods of La Boquilla’s residents — all while you paddle gently through lush, winding channels.
