This is the best way to get to know the historic centre of Bogotá, we will travel back in time from the beginnings of our indigenous ancestors through the period of colonisation to the present day.

• Meet us in front of the Bogotá Gold Museum, where your guide will be located with the red Beyond Colombia umbrella.
• We will finish: at the Gabriel García Márquez Cultural Centre.

• Bogotá Gold Museum: Once the group is complete, our guide will welcome and recommend the tour. Our guide will start talking about Christopher Columbus, the discovery of America, the legend of El Dorado, the Muisca culture, the Gold Museum and its collection and the Guatavita Lagoon.
• Santander Park: We start the tour, right there in the centre of Santander Park, where we will address topics such as: the process of Independence, the territories of Colombia: La Gran Colombia. The place where we are: Plaza Santander, the regional market and the Crusades.
• Monument to Jorge Eliecer Gaitán: Then, we start the tour in the seventh race, where we can see the monument to the Caudillo, where we can include: Bogotá before the Bogotazo, who was Gaitán, the liberal force, the great, Fidel Castro in Bogota, the architecture change because of the Bogotazo, the Cold War, Socialism and the Era of violence.

• La Salle University: Moving south a bit, we can see La Salle University and at this point we can talk about public and private education in Colombia.
