What you can expect

Drive along the legendary Icefields Parkway, often called one of the most beautiful roads in the world. Towering peaks, hanging glaciers, and endless alpine valleys line the route, creating a breathtaking introduction to the Rockies.
Discover some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the Canadian Rockies across three national parks.
Walk the bridges of Marble Canyon, where powerful turquoise water has carved deep through limestone rock, creating a dramatic gorge and rushing creek below.
Visit the world-famous Lake Louise, known for its brilliant turquoise waters fed by the Victoria Glacier. Surrounded by towering peaks and the historic Fairmont Chateau, it’s one of the most iconic and photographed lakes in Canada.
Take in the peaceful beauty of Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park. Its vibrant colour and mountain backdrop create the perfect place for a scenic stroll along the shoreline or a relaxing stop at the lakeside café.
Seasonally, the tour also includes one of two incredible natural highlights. During the summer months, experience the thunder of Takakkaw Falls, one of Canada’s tallest waterfalls, plunging 373 metres down a dramatic cliff.
When Takakkaw Falls is closed for the season, enjoy a visit to Peyto Lake, famous for its striking wolf-shaped shape and brilliant turquoise colour created by glacier silt, making it one of the most photographed lakes in the Canadian Rockies.

PLEASE NOTE:
Takakkaw Falls usually opens MID-JUNE and closes MID-OCTOBER (all weather dependant). We operate tours year round and when Parks Canada closes certain areas, we have to adjust the itinerary. Thank you so much for considering our tour, we promise a great experience. Rocky Mountain Trips is a top rated family operated company.
