What you can expect

Set off to idyllic Cachi, a town in northwestern Argentina known for its charming colonial architecture. Traverse a winding road through the beautiful Valle Encantado, a breathtaking valley with scenic rolling hills and impressive rock formations.

Following convenient hotel pickup, make your way to the Cuesta del Obispo—a stretch of Provincial Route 33 that meanders through deep ravines flanked by steep rock outcroppings. Zigzag along a panoramic stretch of highway on your way through Valle Encantado and soak up breathtaking views from all directions. Drive across the Recta del Tin Tin, a famous road that was once part of the ancient Inca road system.

Once you arrive in Cachi, embark on a stroll down a quiet cobblestone street. Then, visit a beautiful 16th-century church that proudly showcases Neo-Gothic elements. Right across from this sanctuary find the Pio Pablo Diaz Archaeological Museum, where you can explore more than 500 ancient artefacts collected from the region, some of which date back to 8,000 B.C.
