Budapest Parliament (Pass by)

The Hungarian Parliament Building (Országház) is the seat of the National Assembly and the third-largest parliament building in the world. Located on the banks of the Danube, this Neo-Gothic masterpiece was designed by architect Imre Steindl and completed in 1904.

Margaret Island (Pass by)

Located just a short distance north of the Parliament, Margaret Island (Margitsziget) is Budapest’s primary green oasis in the middle of the Danube. It is free to enter and open 24/7.

Margaret Bridge (Pass by)

Margaret Bridge (Margit híd) is Budapest’s second-oldest permanent bridge and one of its most unique architectural landmarks. Its most famous feature is its 165-degree bend, a Y-shaped design with a central branch leading directly to Margaret Island.

The four Lion Statues guarding the ends of the Széchenyi Chain Bridge are among Budapest's most beloved symbols, carved from Sóskút limestone by sculptor János Marschalkó in 1852

St. Gellert Thermal Bath and Swimming Pool (Pass by)

The history of the St. Gellért Thermal Bath spans nearly a millennium, evolving from a medieval hospital into one of Europe's most famous luxury spa complexes. Construction: The modern complex was designed by architects Artúr Sebestyén, Ármin Hegedűs, and Izidor Sterk. Construction began in 1912 and continued through World War I, with some labour reportedly provided by Russian prisoners of war. Grand Opening: When it opened in 1918, it was considered the most modern and luxurious bathhouse in Europe. Technological Firsts: In 1927, the complex added the world's first outdoor wave pool, followed by a whirlpool bath (bubble bath) in 1934.

National Theatre (Pass by)

The National Theatre (Nemzeti Színház) is Hungary’s primary dramatic institution, located in a striking modern building on the banks of the Danube in District IX. Opened in 2002, it serves as a central hub for Hungarian classical and contemporary drama.

Balna (Pass by)

The Bálna (Hungarian for "Whale") is a striking glass-and-steel architectural landmark on the Pest side of the Danube, situated between the Liberty and Petőfi Bridges. Designed by Dutch architect Kas Oosterhuis, it uniquely fuses four 19th-century brick warehouses into a modern, whale-shaped shell.

Mupa Budapest (Pass by)
