What you can expect

A centrepiece of Britain's monarchy, Buckingham Palace hosts fine works of art displayed in 19 State Rooms and a splendid exotic garden, the largest private garden in London. Your handy audio-guide ensures you don't miss the main highlights and gives you information about the palace's history.

Only open for 2 months of the year, Buckingham Palace is the office and residence of the King of England, as well as the administrative headquarters of the Royal household. While you stroll through its elegant State Rooms, marvel at the beautiful French and English furniture as well as royal treasures including paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, and Vermeer, and a sculpture by Canova.

Visit the palace's 42-acre garden, home to many species of birds and rare wildflowers. As you walk along the south side of the garden, take in the splendid view of the west front of the palace. Here the King hosts annual parties and holds large functions to celebrate royal milestones.
