Know before you book

  • Children 4 and younger are complimentary provided they are accompanied by a paying adult.
  • Check-in is 30 minutes prior to the booked tour start time.
  • Please advise any mobility issues prior to booking. There are stairs on every vessel that can be an issue for some. We can accommodate wheelchairs up to 63cm only. Motorised wheelchairs cannot be taken onboard.
  • Return time will vary between 2-2.5 hours depending on tides.

What you can expect

Set sail down the Brisbane River aboard a restored Kookaburra Queen paddle wheeler, just in time for tea. Admire the many riverside sights in Brisbane, including the gorgeous Botanic Gardens and the massive Story Bridge, before treating yourself to a high tea ceremony with sparkling wine.

Meet at the dock and venture into the old world of wooden paddle wheelers. Relax on the charming deck as you admire a litany of Brisbane's waterfront scenery in an idyllic setting. The Botanic Gardens are amazing to view from the river, with mangrove forests lining the bank. The Story Bridge is also a sight to behold, spanning 2,500 feet (777 m) between Brisbane's northern and southern suburbs.

Enjoy a high tea ceremony, including sparkling wine, selected beer, soft drink and a bounty of delicious treats. Snack on scones, chocolate fondant, cheesecake, finger sandwiches, savoury rolls, and quiches while you socialise and marvel at the views. This is a perfect party atmosphere for bridal and baby showers, birthdays, or family reunions.
