This visit will transport you back centuries!
Embark on an adventure into the old rural life of Botticino's farmers and virtually meet the former stewards of the farmhouse to learn about the origins of Botticino wine.
The experience includes:
-A tour of the ancient 16th-century estate, featuring vineyards over 50 years old.
-Enjoy the panoramic views from 400 metres above sea level!
-A virtual encounter, through a short video, with the former inhabitants.
-Tasting of 4 ORGANIC wines (one rosè and 3 red wines: Botticino DOC Ulivi, Botticino DOC Pià de la Tesa, Botticino DOC Gobbio) in the beautifully restored old stable, complete with period furniture and tableware.
The wine will be accompanied by local cheeses and cured meats.
-Dress up in period costumes! Choose to be the farmer or the noble! Wearing your chosen attire, we'll take a souvenir photo in the vineyards with a Polaroid camera for a true step back in time!
What is Botticino?
A village close to Brescia and just 20 minutes from Garda Lake. Botticino is an amphitheatre of marly hills, with soil rich in limestone, calcium carbonate, and other minerals, which combine with clay to form the typical marlstone.
Visit a green paradise just outside the city. The wines you'll enjoy are the true embodiment of this territory. Learn the history of Botticino, also famous for its white marble. This has always been a wine-growing place, as Botticino DOC is one of the oldest appellations in Italy.
