      What you can expect

      Begin your day by gathering at the starting point in Borobudur village. Get an introduction to the cycling route and a safety briefing before setting off on your bike.

      Cycle through scenic rice fields and the Menoreh hills. Stop at the local market to buy fresh ingredients. Discover spices, vegetables, and local produce, and interact with village vendors.

      Next, head to a traditional kitchen and cook Borobudur specialities such as Sayur Lodeh, Pecel, or Ayam Kampung Bacem. Learn to prepare sambal and traditional herbal drinks (jamu).
