We'll meet at the valley station of the chairlift in Boppard. On the leisurely ride up to the Hirschkopf, we'll enjoy fantastic views of the Rhine, the largest Rhine loop, the towns on the other side of the Rhine, and the rock passage below us. After a short walk, you'll reach the Gedeonseck. After the photo stop, we'll continue hiking along the edge of the slope overlooking the Rhine to the Vierseenblick, a unique viewpoint (get ready to be surprised!). We'll continue on partly narrow paths with magnificent views of the forests of the Hunsrück to the Engelseiche. On a mostly wide path, we'll experience the bright green of the spring forest and hear many birds chirping. We'll pass the Jakobsberger Hof and follow the path downhill. Suddenly the forest ends and we're up in the vineyards of Bopparder Hamm. We'll reach the Mandelsteinhütte on a paved road. Here we have time to enjoy the great view. I'll top off your packed lunch with a glass of wine from the Hamm or grape juice. After the refreshment, we'll continue downhill to the Peternacher Valley and the B9.
A bus will take us back to Boppard.
