Would you love to see the Blue Pearl of Morocco departing from Marrakech?
This is your chance, this private luxury tour makes this journey northwest of the country possible.

Chefchaouen is probably the most beautiful city in Morocco, and in this tour you will be visiting two other cities as well, Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, loud, energetic and the largest city. Rabat, on the other hand, is the capital of Morocco, quieter, more traditional and an imperial city.

This tour is indeed a journey full of surprises, lots of history and culture.
You will be taken around for guided visits in Rabat, the blue city of Chefchaouen and Casablanca where you will visit the most impressive mosque in north Africa.

Activity itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech - Rabat (Morocco's capital)
  • 3 stops
  • Meals: Not included
  • Accommodation: Not included
Kasbah des Oudaias
  • 1h
  • Admission ticket included
We are at the administrative capital of Morocco where most of the embassies are situated. This makes from Rabat the second most important city of Morocco. The city is located on the Atlantic Ocean and at the mouth of the river Bou-Regreg. You will start the visit with your local guide at the wonderful Kasbah of Oudayas, the word Kasbah may refer to a city within a city or a fortified village (Fortress). Set in Morocco’s capital on the mouth of the Bou Regreg river, the Udayas Kasbah (or as it’s also known, Oudayas Kasbah) is one of the country’s most unique sites. Originally built in the 12th century and renovated many times since throughout the centuries, it has been home to Arab tribes, Andalusian immigrants, and some of Morocco’s most powerful sultans. Walk up the steps leading to the imposing gate of Bab Oudaya and discover the winding streets of the Kasbah that will take you to Rabat’s oldest mosque, beautiful gardens, and an exquisite museum.
Hassan Tower
  • 1h
  • Admission ticket included
Known as the ''Unfinished Past'' Take your walk with your local guide, this site is guarded at all times by elaborately dressed royal guards and fez-topped security personnel, Rabat’s two most visited sites stand opposite each other along the magnificent Bou Regreg river. Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V are two of Morocco’s most mystical places: one is an incomplete project of majestic proportions and the other stands as a masterpiece of modern Moroccan architecture, holding inside the grand tombs of past kings. Wander through the ruins of columns and enter the ornamental grandeur that is the exquisite mausoleum to discover a part of Moroccan history that will forever remain incomplete. At the beginning of the 12th century the Sultan Yacoub al Mansour ordered the construction of the Hassan Tower and its adjoining mosque in Rabat. Having already planned the creation of the iconic Koutoubia Mosque in Marrakech and planned the restoration of the ancient Udayas Kasbah.
Chellah
  • 1h
  • Admission ticket included
The Phoenicians were the first to settle on this sloping site above the Bou Regreg river, and the Romans took control in about 40 CE, the name of this magnificent and historical site is Chellah. From 1154, it lay abandoned until the 14th century, when a Merinid sultan built a necropolis on top of the Roman site. An elegant minaret, now topped by a stork’s nest, is all that's left of a once-impressive mosque and behind it, the sultan's tomb, complete with stone carving and mosaic traces. It is also an evocative setting for the annual Jazz au ‘’Chellah festival’’ staged in September. Your local guide will always provide so much more information about the history of every site. After an optional lunch in Rabat we head for the blue pearl of Morocco and most beautiful city north of the country: Chefchaouen
Day 2: Rabat - Chefchaouen

Province of Ouezzane
  • 3h
Ouazzane, also spelled Wazzān, city, north-central Morocco. With a population approximetly 60,000 this city lies at the southwestern edge of the Rif Mountains. Ouazzane is situated on the northern slope of Mount Bouhelal, at an elevation of 1,066 feet (325 metres). It was founded in 1727 as a religious community on the site of a village named Dechra Jabal al-Rīḥān (“Village of the Mount of Myrtles”) by the Sharif Mawlāy ʿAbd Allāh, a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad through the line of Idrīs II. ʿAbd Allāh was venerated as a saint, and after his death his tomb became a site of pilgrimage, a centre for the teaching of Sufi doctrines, and a sanctuary. The Sharifs of Ouazzane were among the most powerful religious figures in pre-Protectorate Morocco. They owned extensive lands around the town and were exempted from paying taxes. Cereals and cattle are raised in the vicinity of Ouazzane, and the city also serves as a local market centre.
Chefchaouen
  • 5h
Chefchaouen, nestled beneath the striking peaks of the Rif Mountains, is considered one of Morocco's prettiest towns. Whitewashed homes with red tile roofs line narrow, winding laneways, their walls painted in brilliant shades of blue. Take a private Chefchaouen tour with a friendly local guide, and discover first-hand the culture of this fascinating region of Morocco. Your local guide will take you in Chefchaouen's lovely Medina exploring its amazing and unique alleys. Quaint and uncrowded, this part of town offers an excellent place to experience the town's street life, and perhaps to practice your bargaining skills with a local vendor. In the heart of the Medina is the Plaza Utta el-Hammam, a perfect place to stop for a drink at a shady pavement café. Whatever your interest, your guide can design a private Chefchaouen tour that accommodates you.

A drive straight from the Blue city to Casablanca, the bustling city and Morocco's largest city, by wandering through the its centre and admire the many Art Deco buildings. The city's handsome Moorish buildings, which meld French-colonial design and traditional Moroccan style, are best admired in the city centre area. Visitors who spend time there, in the Quartier Habous and in the beachside suburb of Ain Diab, are sure to get into the local swing of things and realise that this old pirate lair is looking towards the future, embracing the European-flavored urban sophistication that has underpinned life here for the past century. We will drive you to your chosen accommodation hotel for overnight and resting well after the long drive getting ready for the next day and for an amazing journey in Casablanca before we take you back to Marrakech for your camels that will be waiting for you to ride in the great palm oasis of the red city ''Palmerait''

Hassan II Mosque
  • 1h 30m
  • Admission ticket not included
Once you get your ticket, it basically includes the guide who will take you around for your visit. This opulent mosque, built at enormous expense, is set on an outcrop jutting over the ocean with a 210m-tall minaret that's a city landmark. It's a showcase of the finest Moroccan artisanship: hand-carved stone and wood, intricate marble flooring and inlay, gilded cedar ceilings and exquisite zellij (geometric mosaic tilework) abound. It's one of two Moroccan mosques open to non-Muslims; multilanguage guided tours are conducted outside prayer times for modestly clad visitors. There’s also a small museum showcasing the craftwork involved. The mosque can hold 105,000 worshippers – 25,000 inside, the rest on the outside courtyards. Built and partially funded by King Hassan II (the remaining funds were gathered through a somewhat controversial public subscription process), the mosque complex was designed by French architect Michel Pinseau, took six years to build and was completed in 1993.
