What you can expect

Explore the Black Sea coast with a 3-day trip to Shekvetili, Batumi, and Chakvi. Visit the Black Sea Arena, the Miniature Park, and the Batumi Botanical Garden. Stay in a villa with a private pool and enjoy the sunset on the beach.

Day 1:
Stay in Magnika Resort, a unique resort on the Black Sea coast, harmoniously combining nature and modern environment. The magnetic sand beach has healing properties and offers free sunbeds, umbrellas, beach towels, and Wi-Fi. Watch the sunset at 20:30 with a cappuccino and homemade lemonades.

Day 2:
Stay in a new villa with spacious interiors, two bedrooms with king-size beds, a spacious living room, a private pool, and gorgeous sunsets. Visit Chakvi, the birthplace of tea production in Georgia. Wild tea plants can still be found, and some limited tea production still continues in the hills above Chakvi.

Visit the Batumi Nobel Brothers Technological Museum, which reflects the technical achievements implemented in Batumi from the beginning of the 19th century to the end of the 20th century. The museum is named after the Nobel brothers, and the main attention is paid to the promotion of their and the Nobel laureates' activities in the region.

Day 3:
Take a walk in the Batumi Botanical Garden, which boasts one of the widest varieties of flora in the world. Established in 1912 by the prominent botanist and geographer Andrey Krasnov, the garden is 111 hectares and contains flora from nine phyto-geographic areas.

The garden is located 9 km from the centre of Batumi and occupies the area of 108.7 hectares of approximately 1 km of the Southern-Western section of the coastline located between the river Chakvistskali estuary and the Green Cape. The garden is spread to the height of 0-220 metres from the sea level, which not long ago was totally covered with Kolkheti type forest (beech, chestnut, linden) and evergreen sub-forest.

The Botanical Garden is distinguished by its scientific library, herbarium, and seed foundation. The garden collection is comprised of up to 1800 taxonomic units, with 90 of Caucasian origin.
